Yosmel López Ortiz (Yos) nació en Cuba. Graduado de la Escuela Profesional de Artes en el perfil de Acuación. Del 2010 a 2022, trabajó como actor y director artístico de teatro de títeres en su país. Durante ese tiempo, se dedicó al diseño y construcción de títeres. Algunos de sus diseños fueron premiados en concursos nacionales. En 2015, ganó la Beca Internacional Próxima Generación, otorgada por la Asociación Internacional de Teatro para Jóvenes Públicos (ASSITEJ) en Argentina. Ha impartido talleres de títeres en Colombia, Argentina y México. Actualmente es Coordinador de Educación en el Centro Milagro en Portland, Oregon.

Yosmel López Ortiz (Yos) was born in Cuba. He graduated from the Professional School of Arts in Acuación. From 2010 to 2022, he worked as an actor and artistic director of puppet theater in his country. During that time, he dedicated himself to the design and construction of puppets. Some of his designs have won awards in national competitions. In 2015, he won the Next Generation International Fellowship, awarded by the International Association of Theatre for Young Audiences (ASSITEJ) in Argentina. He has taught puppet workshops in Colombia, Argentina, and Mexico. He is currently the Education Coordinator at the Milagro Center in Portland, Oregon.
